Fast and Affordable Interior Renderings

To streamline the visualization process for interior designs, I’ve tested a real model exported from Archicad to create quick, high-quality renderings. While the model had minor export issues, they were non-critical for this type of project.

This approach offers a significant advantage: fast and cost-effective renderings suitable for clients with limited budgets. Using free software, such as Twinmotion for rendering and Blender for minor model edits, I can produce visuals that go beyond moodboards, offering a clearer representation of the architect’s ideas.

It’s important to note that these renderings are conceptual and do not reflect the final design. Precise visualization requires more detailed modeling, custom furniture, and additional software. Instead, this method leverages pre-existing library models to keep costs low while delivering a visually appealing product.

I’m genuinely impressed by the speed and efficiency of this workflow, which I see as a valuable niche offering for clients seeking budget-friendly renderings and flexibility in design details.

Another interesting advantage of working with this software is the ability to quickly adjust lighting and seasons. For example, I’ve included both summer and winter variations in this project. Notice how the lighting differs—winter scenes have less natural light, making interior lighting a key part of the composition.

These visualizations are based on actual plans of a house in Tver, which is currently undergoing interior finishing. Some of the original design ideas by the architect have been preserved and reflected in these renderings.
